A convertible toddler bed is not easy to find and this Step 2 castle bed is one of the few available online. It converts to a standard twin size bed, which allows you to make allowance for your growing child.
At first glance, this bed may cost quite a bit at around $350 but then, it should last you longer than the usual toddler bed which is usually quickly outgrown. The castle design should also appeal to most little girls and there is also a built-in night light at the headboard.
If I'm to look for a reason not to buy this, then I would think long-term. If this bed is convertible to a twin bed, it means my kid would be stuck with this bed for perhaps the next 5 to 10 years. And I'm just not too sure if this bed would be too kiddy as time passes by.
Anyway, the good thing about a convertible toddler bed is that you have that option to make the bed bigger and roomier should the need arises. Your toddler doesn't need to feel crammed up in a small toddler bed say, a year later when she has grown in size. That, in itself, should be a compelling reason to get this bed apart from the fact that it would absolutely delight your toddler.
