The design is very simple with vertical slats adorning the headboard, footboard and guard rails. It is made of solid wood and has all the tools included for assembly. Some reviewers have little problem putting it together while a few have complained that assembly was tough. Basically, there are a few more parts that require assembly compared to similar beds out there but then, you probably can't find anything cheaper than the Dream On Me Mission toddler bed.
