If you want something cheap and simple, then the Cosco toddler bed is for you. Many toddlers' beds are in the $100 to $150 range but this one can be bought for much less. If you think a toddler bed is only good for a year or so for your kid, then there is really little point in buying an expensive bed. So, this one here can be a value for money in that sense.
What I don't like about the bed though, is that the height of the bed rails seem to be a little low. That means if you have a thick crib mattress, I'm not so sure if the mesh bed rails will be adequate to keep your toddler from falling off the bed. Also, the simplicity of the bed may not work in your favor to get your toddler to give up the crib, which is another issue altogether which you'll need to consider.
All in all, a cheap toddler bed but you will have to weigh what you are paying for against its sturdiness, durability, safety and style.
